Women's Eating Disorder Group
Women's Eating Disorder Group is an ongoing psychotherapy group that explores and processes the various expressions of negative body image — including eating disorders (Anorexia, Bulimia and Binge Eating Disorder) — and the inner dialogue that accompanies this dynamic.
Co-facilitated by a psychotherapist and a nutritionist, the objective of this interactive group is (1) greater personal insight into the experiences and moods that often trigger negative feelings and beliefs about food, weight, and body issues, leading to self-destructive behaviors and emotional conflict, and (2) skills and strategies for more productively managing these issues.
