Women's Eating Disorder Group
Women's Eating Disorder Group is an ongoing psychotherapy group that explores and processes the various expressions of negative body image — including eating disorders (Anorexia, Bulimia and Binge Eating Disorder) — and the inner dialogue that accompanies this dynamic.
Co-facilitated by a psychotherapist and a nutritionist, the objectives of this interactive group are:
- greater personal insight into the experiences and moods that often trigger negative feelings and beliefs about food, weight, and body issues, leading to self-destructive behaviors and emotional conflict, and
- skills and strategies for more productively managing these issues.
